Summer is here, and that means festival time for Kenneth B Woode and his mighty Mixers. The band will be popping up like a bad smell on big, booming outdoor stages all over the place – in Chipping Norton, Romsey, Lymington, Eastleigh, Petersfield, Swindon, Stroud, Fawley, Tenby and I’m bound to have forgotten one. What finer way to spend a sunny afternoon than stretching out on a picnic blanket with a plastic pint glass of warm lager, watching Ken and his merry troupe cavort around the stage and surrounding area like a demented tribe of escaped baboons?
